Annual Rebate Distributions February 2026

Dr. Fay Sprouse, Executive Director, Western Piedmont Education Consortium, accepts check from Chair Fred Payne, CarolinaBUY, based on a “tithe” of WPEC School Districts 2025 cooperative purchasing participation.
This year, 34 agencies qualified for rebates ranging from $109 to $13,000 based on their purchasing activity. We are proud to return these dollars to the organizations that serve our communities every day, and we remain dedicated to expanding opportunities that deliver meaningful savings and operational efficiency for public entities throughout the region.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(6) cooperative, CarolinaBUY reinvests administrative revenue earned from contracted suppliers back into the agencies we serve. This rebate cycle represents our continued commitment to delivering value, transparency, and meaningful financial returns to schools, municipalities, higher education institutions, and other public sector partners.
“CarolinaBUY was created to strengthen purchasing power for public agencies while ensuring that savings and benefits flow directly back to the organizations that rely on us,” said Nita Werner the Executive Director of CarolinaBUY. “We are proud to return these funds to our members and to support their ongoing work in communities across the Carolinas.”
CarolinaBUY appreciates the continued support of its member agencies and looks forward to expanding the tools and value available through the cooperative in the months ahead.
